Its a given that we all like big screen TV’s and DVD players along with the latest phones, and gadgets which in reality make our lives more complicated. The cost however to get this things can be great at times, and should cause those who are budgeting, or trying to budget, to question when these purchases should be made.

Even when you feel like you have the money to buy something before your next check and you want it right away, you should hold off. Having enough money at the moment is one thing, but it is another to not see a bill or some problem which could require an expensive repair hit you from a mile away.

Generally this comes in the form of repairing your car in most cases. While car parts are not always as expensive as say RV parts or Heavy machinery, they still can take a toll on your wallet with not only the cost of parts, but the labor involved in putting them on.

So if you are planning on buying something that costs a nice chunk of change why not wait till the end of the week or month to make sure you have enough money, and that something unforseen didn’t come up which would bite you in the butt if you would have bought that big item.
